Morrison’s North Star Marine has been fueling boats on Lake Union for years. Our dock crew handles everything from small outboards to large diesel yachts. We pump non-ethanol 87 octane gasoline and premium marine diesel directly to your vessel — no hauling jerry cans, no guesswork. With over 500 feet of linear dock space, we can accommodate multiple boats at once, and our staff assists with tie-up so you can focus on getting back on the water.
Fuel We Carry
Non-Ethanol 87 Octane Gasoline
Ethanol-free gasoline formulated for marine engines. No phase separation, no water absorption issues, and better shelf stability for boats that sit between trips. Ideal for carbureted outboards, older inboards, and any engine where ethanol causes headaches.
Marine Diesel
Low-sulfur marine diesel suitable for commercial fishing boats, diesel sailboats, and diesel-powered yachts. Compatible with modern common-rail and mechanical injection systems.
No Tax Fuel — Resale & Corporate Accounts
If you operate a commercial fishing vessel, charter boat, or marine business, you may qualify for tax-exempt fuel purchases. We accept valid resale certificates and corporate fuel account setups at the dock. Bring your Washington State reseller permit or corporate documentation, and our staff will process your fill-up without sales tax.
Commercial accounts with regular fueling schedules can also set up billing arrangements. Contact us ahead of time to get your account established — it makes every stop faster.
Dock Space & Tie-Up
Our fuel dock features over 500 feet of linear dock space along the north shore of Lake Union, giving us room to handle multiple vessels simultaneously. Whether you are pulling up in a 16-foot runabout or a 50-foot cruiser, our crew will help you tie up securely. We have cleats, fenders, and lines available if you need them. The approach is straightforward from the east or west — just look for the red North Star Marine sign.
Fuel Additives & Treatments
Inside our store you will find a full selection of fuel stabilizers, biocides for diesel tanks, injector cleaners, octane boosters, and winterizing treatments. Our staff can recommend the right product for your engine and operating conditions. We also stock oil, coolant, filters, and basic engine supplies so you can handle routine maintenance while you are here.
